Should You Use Article Spinning.

After posting about article spinning, yesterday, I came across some seemingly opposite opinions.  Check out this very clean, clear, and well written article about article spinning that I found on EzineArticles.

Article Spinning – 5 Reasons You Shouldn’t Do It

I want to present five reasons why you should never use the strategy of article spinning. Some people have claimed this is a shortcut to getting more content online, but you will end up with worthless content in all your spun articles, and why would you ever confuse potential customers with poor content?

There is no shortcut to successful writing. You should never listen to any expert who claims otherwise. He is trying to confuse you to sell some idea that may seem smart, but can ultimately destroy the good reputation you have worked years to build.

• You end up with duplicate content
• Synonyms don’t always have the exact same meaning
• Your points made with one set of words will appear odd with other words
• When spotted your credibility goes down the drain
• If you know your subject it’s quicker to write new quality content than try to find a shortcut

Let’s go through these one by one so you know why you should never commit the unpardonable sin of article spinning if you are a real expert author.

You End Up With Duplicate Content

The idea that you can just change a few words and have a new article is false. Your content is still the same, and the few words end up as only 2-3% unique which is far too low to ever be considered new.

If your child did this in school, and was caught, you would have a hard time claiming this was anything but theft of online content. You need to face that fact, and accept that the idea of article spinning is false.

Synonyms Don’t Always Have the Exact Same Meaning

When you replace words with synonyms you get a new meaning of your articles, and subsequently it would be illegible to your potential clients. Just imagine a potential buyer of articles in your niche that finds content that looks like it was some kind of PLR rewritten content. He or she won’t even try to research whether this is duplicate content but will, most likely, move on to another writer that writes sensible content. Again, article spinning would be the losing strategy.

Your Points Made With One Set of Words Will Appear Odd With Other Words

Furthermore, when a valid point has been made with one set of words, replacing some of these with synonyms could change the entire meaning, and when logic is lost in new meanings that would appear strange compared with the normal language employed in your niche, your articles would again lose when read by people who know your niche.

When Spotted Your Credibility is Flushed Down the Drain

Once you are spotted your credibility is flushed down the drain. You stand no chance to make a good second impression. Once people see poor content, they will be turned off. Your content may rank well on the short term, but when people don’t like your content, you’re at the losing end with your article spinning strategy.

If You Know Your Subject It’s Quicker to Write New Quality Content Anyway

Let’s face the facts. When you know your subject, it’s very quick to write good quality articles. Once you know how to type on your keyboard, words will flow freely once you get the creative inspiration to write in your niche. Trying to replace a few words will actually take longer – and be much less effective when compared with writing a deeper article on a different aspect in your niche.

In Conclusion

In all five areas, article spinning is the losing strategy. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. They are trying to make a quick income, but you are going to lose money by employing such a strategy.

As it turns out, I agree with many of the author’s arguments in this article. That is not to say that I fully agree with everything that he is presenting. You see, I’m pretty sure that this author has never used The BestSpinner by Jonathan Leger. If he had, his article may have been a little more objective about the topic of article spinning.

Let’s go through the main points of the article.

You end up with duplicate content. He goes on to say that the content from a spinner is only 2-3% unique.  That’s very possible with some spinners.  I’d be very opposed to article spinning if that were the best results possible.

Using The BestSpinner, I’ve taken 300 word articles and within 2 minutes I’ve spun it into dozens of articles that are 40-50% unique.

Synonyms don’t always have the exact same meaning. That is so very true.  If you use a spinner like The BestSpinner, you can select the exact synonyms you wish.  It’s not simply a random selection by the spinner.  You don’t have to use the synonyms that aren’t absolutely perfect.

I’ve found that I can put my completely unique articles through a spinner and improve the article by allowing the spinner to help me select words that make the article even more meaningful.

This is actually the same argument as the previous point, so I won’t dive into it further.

When Spotted Your Credibility is Flushed Down the Drain. That is a true statement and your credibility is very important in the internet marketing business.  It’s important that if you are going to spin articles, that you use a spinner that is as versatile and powerful as The BestSpinner so that you can create highly unique and clean article content.

If you know your subject it’s quicker to write new quality content anyway.
